Teams are responsible for picking up the game sheets for each game from admissions. All Permit Players need to be manually added to the game sheet with their Permit Type specified: YP Youth Permit, GP Goalkeeper Permit, PP Player Permit, FP Free agent Permit.
TEAM CONTACT RESPONSIBILITY
Team contacts are responsible for making sure all players are registered AND paid before they play in a game.
Please be aware, unlike Goalline, players can register to RAMP and are still not eligible if they have not paid. Being on the roster does not necessarily mean the player has completed their registration.
Game sheets must be signed after each game by the Team Contact to confirm the information. Please bring your own pen.
We are introducing Competitive Divisions throughout our league.
Every Competitive Division will gain:
Consistent Night of Play (even for turf)!
Prime Time Game Times!
Games at Both Centres: Half on Boarded / Half on Turf!
Division Championship Cash Prize for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place!
Playoffs (even for Coed and Coed Masters)!
Two Officials for every game!
Our leagues previously didn’t include a designation of either Competitive or Recreational. Going forward, any league that isn’t Competitive 1 will be deemed Recreational.
Legends will not have a Competitive league.
SCHEDULED NIGHTS OF PLAY
SAS cannot confirm what nights each division will be playing until the schedule is finalized. Often, but not always, we are able to keep divisions on the same nights that they played on in past seasons. However, this is NOT a guarantee. We also cannot guarantee Competitive games will not coincide with Recreational games. We can’t guarantee that any league will avoid the other leagues entirely.
Games may be scheduled on nights different than specified below. We will avoid games being two night in a row from Sunday - Thursday. However, a team may play on both Friday and Saturday. Sundays are the back up game day for all leagues.
Due to the scheduling constraints of turf, we are unable to schedule the turf leagues on a consistent night. However, for the boarded leagues, we do try to assign each division a couple nights in a week that they will consistently play.
Below is a breakdown of our aim for designed nights of play this year (but, again, not a guarantee until the teams are accepted and schedules are created):
