Saskatoon Adult Soccer Inc. holds their Annual General Meeting (AGM) in December of each year. Notice is sent to our members with the exact date once it is determined. A call for Nominations is also sent to the membership.
The SAS Board of Directors consist of fifteen (15) Directors, including President, Past President, Vice President, Finance Director, and eleven (11) Directors as selected by the membership. In the occurrence of a Past President position being vacant, we may appoint a Director position for the term.
We have a vibrant soccer community and are seeking qualified candidates to play a role in the stewardship of our organization that reflect such values as engagement, transparency, and accountability.
Candidates will have the skill-set, expertise and experience necessary to further the vision and priorities of Saskatoon Adult Soccer Inc and lead us to a legacy of success on and off the playing field.
Please note: Specific areas of expertise that SAS is looking to include are finance, law, governance, strategic planning and risk assessment. However, we also encourage people with other competencies, including interest in soccer, to seek nomination.
DISQUALIFICATIONS FOR NOMINATIONS
1. Teams/Players that have not paid their fees.
2. No employee of any soccer league, association or zone (excluding SDSRAI referees) shall be eligible on behalf of a team on the Board of Directors.
3. No team or club shall have more than three (3) voting members on the Board of Directors at any one time.
