ASTRA Skill Builder (Adult - Women) Nov. - Dec. 2022
We have now opened registration for the next ASTRA Soccer Adult Skills for Women 6 week sessions starting the week of Nov. 14th until just before Christmas. This is a good way to burn off some calories before the holiday binge!

ASTRA Skill Builder (Adult - Women) - Nov. - Dec. 2022:
Are you looking to have some fun with a ball and work on your fitness? ASTRA is offering 6 Skill Builder sessions coached by certified ASTRA coaches for you!
Please note that not all of the topics below will be covered in 6 sessions, but topics will be of this nature.
Skill Builder Sessions:
-
Do you want to learn how to:
o control (trap) a ball with your feet, thighs, chest, head?
o dribble (carry a ball) past an attacker and into space?
o move with a ball effectively and efficiently?
o defend effectively in a 1 on 1 situation?
o attack effectively with the ball in a 1 on 1 situation?
o assume an efficient body position when receiving a ball?
o shoot with accuracy and pace?
o learn a bit about basic game tactics?
Then the Skill Builder Sessions are for you!
Day: Thursdays (6 weeks)
Time: 6:00 - 7:15 pm
Start date: Thursday, Nov. 17th, 2022
End date: Thursday, Dec, 22nd, 2022 (6 weeks)
Where: ASTRA Training Centre - 630 - 56th Street East, Saskatoon
*Registration Deadline - Wednesday, Nov. 16th, 2022 midnight. Note we need a minimum of 8 registrants for this to go!
Cost: $125.00 (PST added as of Nov. 1/2022 for all adult programming.
Note - full program fees due within 24 hours of registration either online through RAMP by credit card, offline by e-transfer to chris@astrasoccer.ca. If paying by cheque or cash, please contact chris@astrasoccer.ca for times when staff are available to receive that form of payment. Coaches will not accept fees.

ASTRA Intermediate Skills (Adult - Women) - Nov. - Dec. 2022:
Are you looking to have some fun, challenge your soccer mind, and work on your fitness? ASTRA is offering 6 Intermediate Skills sessions coached by certified ASTRA coaches for you! Please note, these sessions are geared towards players who already have a good mastery of ball control.
Intermediate Skills Sessions:

Do you want to learn how to:
o or continue to work on your ball mastery (ball control)?
o be aware of your positioning (special awareness) on the field?
o be aware of passing lanes and execute different passing options?
o take on players confidently in 1 v 1, 2 v 1, 2 v 2, and small sided situations?
o defend effectively in 1 v 1, 2 v 1, 2 v 2, and small sided situations?
Then the Intermediate Skills Sessions are for you!
Day: *Thursdays (6 weeks) (*note new day for this group)
Time: 7:15 - 8:30 pm
Start date: Thursday, Nov. 17th, 2022
End date: Thursday, Dec, 22nd, 2022 (6 weeks)
