OUTDOOR MINI-LEAGUE REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN
As of Outdoor 2020, we will be using RAMP as our website platform and registration system.
Please note that each team contact will need to create a profile in order to be able to register a team. You will use that same profile to register as a player, as well as for future SAS tournaments and seasons registrations.
Before you register/join a team, it is important to understand the guidelines that we are following. The Saskatchewan Soccer Association (SSA) has developed a Return To Soccer Plan (RTSP) and we are currently in Phase 3 of the Return to Play. This allows us to offer game formats of up to 7v7, creating Mini-Leagues of 50 people. As per the Provincial Sport and Activities Guidelines, the 50-person maximum per mini-league includes coaches, participants from multiple teams, officials who cannot maintain two metres of distancing from others at all times.
This unfortunately means that if a team has a non playing coach, in order to be allowed on the field of play, said coach would need to be included in the roster limitations mentioned below.
Phase 3 allows us to offer actual Game Formats, with increased contact from what was allowed during the previous two phases. It's important to note that Mini-League games will not be the Full Contact game you may be used to. Full Contact games can't only begin during Phase 4 of SSA's RTSP.
We've all been away from the beautiful game that we love and we simply want to offer a safe return to the pitch for all our members.
Mini-League Rules to acknowledge before you register a team:
- No headers
- No slide tackles
- No Offsides
- Roster Limit of 12
- Substitutions on the fly
- Kick-ins instead of Throw-ins
- Players can only play on ONE team
- No Permits
- No Player Transfer
- No Playoffs
- No Reschedule requests
Given the Provincial limitation of 50 in a mini-league, we will be creating pools of 4 teams within each Division. Each team will play each other twice.
It's important to note that 2 out of the 50 spots in that mini-league "bubble" are reserved for Match Officials.
Team Fees:
Please note that due to the pandemic, we will be accepting E-transfers instead of Cash and cheques.

Game Sheets
BOTH teams are responsible for printing the game sheets for each game.
For Contact Tracing purposes, Each Team Contact is required to sign and submit a picture of the game sheet after each game to confirm their players' attendance.
The game sheets can be found on our website on the schedule page. Games will be overturned, and teams will be fined if they play ineligible players.
Permit Players
No permits of any kind allowed during the 2020 Outdoor Mini-League Season.
Scheduled Nights of Play
SAS cannot confirm what nights each division will be playing on until the schedule is finalized. Often, we are able to keep divisions on the same nights that they played on in past seasons, but it is NOT a guarantee. Below is a breakdown of what nights each division should play this coming season:

ID Cards and Clinics
A Player ID Card or a Canadian Government issued photo I.D. is required at every game to play, and the card name must match the registration name. ID Cards need to be shown to the referee before every game. You will not be allowed to play without a player ID card or Canadian Government issued photo I.D.
ID Cards no longer expire, and new cards will not have an expiration date on them. The expiration dates on older cards will simply be ignored. It is, however, each player’s responsibility to update their card if it is worn out or if the picture no longer resembles them.
Age MinimumYou must be at least fifteen years of age before you can participate in any SAS sanctioned games.
CommunicationYou must provide accurate email addresses for team contacts. If you have not received any emails from our office by the time Final Alignment is released, then you need to
contact SAS to make sure that the correct email address is being used.
Also, please be sure to “opt-in” to emails. If you do not, Ramp automatically adds you to the unsubscribed list, and therefore you will not receive our emails.
