Hello again Team Contacts, Players and Team Personnel,
Today we received new information pertaining to our vaccination policy released on Friday, September 24.
Fortunately, and unfortunately, depending on your opinion, we cannot implement a policy with both masks and proof of vaccination.
Therefore, we will proceed with Proof of Vaccination alone.
In this case, masks are not required but, of course, you can still wear them if you so choose.
Negative test results are not an option.
We will, once again, extend the pause of the Team Withdrawal Penalty / Refund Policy to Wednesday, September 29 at 5pm so your team can decide how to proceed.
Final Alignment will be released on Friday, October 1 without appeals.
We still intend to release the schedule on Friday, October 15 with games beginning Friday, October 22.
Individual Player Registration and the Free Agent Permit Pass will open on Wednesday, October 13.
We sincerely apologize for the constant change in information. We continue to navigate and make decisions based on the present information. Perhaps, we should have slowed down and waited for the information to change before we released it to you. However, our goal was to keep the ball rolling and inform you once a decision was made so you, too, could make decisions as teams and players. We, too, did not anticipate a change to the rules mid-game.
As such, we cannot continue to change and will therefore proceed as is. IF, hypothetically, masks are imposed by the government even if everyone is vaccinated, we will not refund teams/players that decide they will not play with masks. We cannot continue to alter leagues, divisions, schedules, timelines, deadlines etc.
We hope this is the last you’ll hear from us!
As we have said before and will continue to say it, thank you for your understanding as we navigate this ever-changing climate. We appreciate your support!
Stay safe. Be well.
