Many of you have reached out to us seeking information on any upcoming restrictions we will be implementing for the indoor season.
Saskatoon Adult Soccer Inc. has determined that we will continue with our current pathway to allow you, the players, to make the best decision for yourselves.
Our position is consistent with our provincial government: we highly encourage vaccinations, but we will not mandate a vaccination passport at this time without our government, Saskatchewan Health Authority, governing bodies, or fellow associations partnering with us.
Our directive is to offer you soccer with safety measures we can enforce and properly govern. We are doing that with the following:
1. We strongly encourage all our players to be vaccinated as a show of care and concern for their teammates, opponents, referees, and building staff.
2. We expect all players to self-assess prior to every game, and not be present at games or in the buildings with any active symptoms.
3. Masks will be required in our buildings, but not during play. You are welcome to play with a mask if you so choose.
4. We encourage the use of hand sanitizer at our entrances, exits, and on our fields.
We will continue to monitor the status of COVID in our city, as well as the available options pertaining to your safety.
The Saskatoon Adult Soccer office remains closed to the public.
We remain committed to our members and will continue to be available by phone and by email. We appreciate your understanding during this challenging period.
