The Saskatoon Adult Soccer board of directors has erred on the side of caution for our Outdoor 2021 1st AND 2nd session. This includes limiting roster size and, therefore, field size, outdoor games only, time in between games, no shared pens or game sheets etc. YOUR safety has been at the forefront of the planning.
We understand this isn't always ideal and that many are wishing we were back to regular play with 11v11 full field games. However, with YOU in mind, this is delayed despite the governments plans to remove restrictions.
With our two separate COVID cases, we were able to minimalize even the possibility of transmission due to these extra restrictions. If the pools were larger, more teams would be affected by a positive case. Or, if players were able to play on multiple teams, again, it would affect many more people.
We truly have what is best for the players at the heart of every decision.
