JFK Coed Boarded Tournament

The 2022 JUST FOR KICKS (JFK) Tournament is COED ONLY.

TEAM REGISTRATION IS CLOSED. See below for Registration Link to add players to your roster.

2022 JUST FOR KICKS DIVISION ALIGNMENT

The Just for Kicks tournament was established in 1996. This coed only recreational adult tournament is a celebration of soccer. JFK is meant to be a fun and social way for men and women to enjoy the game of soccer together. It's not meant to be overly competitive but instead a good time all while playing soccer. Unsportsmanlike or potentially dangerous play will not be tolerated. Officials have been instructed to call the game very strictly. Referees will err on the side of calling too much as to prevent injury and to uphold the spirit of the game. After all, it is JUST FOR KICKS!

Just for Kicks tournament rules.

All games will be played on rubber tile at the boarded Saskatoon Kinsmen/Henk Ruys Soccer Centre.

 INDIVIDUAL PLAYER ROSTER DEADLINE

 March 21

All teams are guaranteed a minimum of 3 games. Format is at the discretion of the scheduler.

Limited space is available for this tournament; therefore teams will be accepted on a first come, first served basis within each division.

The division selection on the application/registration form is just to give SAS a general idea of where you think your team fits, and does not necessarily reflect the division you will be placed.

SAS reserves the right to move teams from their selected division in order to create divisions that have a sufficient number of teams. We will take your roster into consideration in order to create a sufficient division.

Recommended Divisions for Teams and Players Entering this Tournament

The following recommendations are based on players current registered in SAS leagues where applicable as below:

  • Coed Rec A (~Div 1-2)

  • Coed Rec B (~Div 3-4)

  • Coed Rec C (~Div 4-5)

  • Coed Rec D (~Div 5-6)

  • Coed Masters Rec A (Recreational Men 35+ and Women 30+)

  • Coed Masters Rec B (Even More Recreational Men 35+ / Women 30+)

Player/Team Roster Checks - Photo ID Required

We will be performing random checks on players/rosters so make sure your players have a form of photo identification. It is not required to be a Saskatoon Soccer Player ID card for this tournament. Any photo ID is acceptable. Players that do not have ID will not be permitted to play.

Individual Player Registration

The Just for Kicks Tournament is sanctioned, and therefore all players must be registered with the Saskatchewan Soccer Association (or their given provincial association) by way of a Member Organization such as Saskatoon Adult Soccer (SAS).

DEADLINE FOR PLAYERS TO REGISTER IS

MONDAY, MARCH 21 at 5:00pm.

All players will need to add themselves to their team with the Team Code or Link provided to you by your Team Contact.

Saskatoon Adult Soccer Registered Players

If you are already registered with SAS, you will need to add yourself to your team's roster, but you will not be prompted to pay again.

Not Yet Registered / New Tournament Players / Promo Code

Players not presently registered in Saskatoon (or Saskatchewan) will be required to register and pay the Individual Player Registration fee at $20* (as opposed to $40 if promo code is not used). The Individual Player Registration fee is non-refundable

Team Contacts should provide the promo code with the team code. (The promo code is in the JFK Team Registration Confirmation email.)

The promo code is only for JFK players that are new to the league this season. SAS is covering a portion of a Individual Player Registration form because we recognize it is the last eligible weekend to play. However, as a registered player with SAS, you are also registered with Sask Soccer, and we must provide Sask Soccer with your full SSA registration fee. We do not receive a discount. Full details to the player fees can be found on our Indoor Individual Player Registration page.

*The discounted rate is achieved by entering the promo code. If the promo code is not used at the time of registering we will not refund the difference later. If players use the code to register for regular league play they will be deemed ineligible until full payment is received.

Saskatchewan Registered Players

If a player is registered elsewhere in the province with a Member Organization of SSA (i.e.: PAYSA, FCR etc.) you do not need to pay again. However, we do need confirmation that you are in good standing and currently registered.

You will also need to add yourself to your team's roster the same as SAS registered players and previously unregistered players.

It is up to you to have your home association to contact us with your confirmation of registration and good standing.

This can be sent to info@saskatoonadultsoccer.com.

Out of Province Players/Teams

Players/Teams must receive approval from their district and provincial associations to travel/play out of province.

Please visit your given association's website for additional details to Team Travel Permits, Guest Player Permits (also called Temporary Registration or Individual Travel Permit - Out of Province) etc.

Please go to the Registration Login page to register your team under "REGISTER A TEAM".

We cannot fill out the online form for you. It is your account. You must create it and make edits yourself.
